Introducing
THE REPTON FESTIVAL
The Repton Festival is a weekend of curated, eclectic arts events spread over three days in early July. Next year's will take place over 4th to 6th July - save those dates in your diary!
The Festival has featured fiction & non-fiction writers, plays and actors, movies and film directors & makers, music and musicians, art and artists, poets, politicians, comedians, Viking re-enactors, gardens and gardeners, beers and brewers, wine and tea experts among others! Everyone can find something fun and engaging.
Founded five years ago, tripped up by the Covid pandemic, it is still a small festival punching well above its weight, taking place in the historic grounds of an ancient Augustinian Priory and Repton School. The Viking Great Army that invaded England in AD 865 overwintered here in AD 873-874. We do history tours too!
